Policies and procedures are important as they help clarify and reinforce the standards expected by our teams, member’s and wider Phoenix Community. They also help us to effectively define what is acceptable and unacceptable at Phoenix. On this part of the website, you can find all of our policies which help us to govern Phoenix. We also keep a copy of our constitution here. Other documents such as our creative delivery plan are available upon request. We complete a full review of all policies every four years, in addition to this we are constantly referring to these documents and will make updates as and when required – any updated policies will be added this this page. For the purposes of policy writing:
Leaders and volunteers may sometimes be referred to as Employees.
Members may sometimes be referred to as students or young people.
The Phoenix Performers may sometimes be referred to as the Employer, the Organisation, the Workplace or just as Phoenix.
SLT stands for the Senior Leadership Team.

Each Policy is reviewed periodically, and a full review is undertaken every four years. Policies are reviewed by the SLT and the board of trustees.
