Glenda Hailwood

Glenda is the company manager. She has a BA (Hons) Degree in Youth and Community Education, a Diploma in CACHE Level 3 play work. She has more than 20 years’ experience in theatre as both a workshop leader and company manager. Glenda is currently working as a Youth Support Worker. She has Child Protection, POVA, Health & Safety and First Aid training.

Christina Hailwood

Christina is one of our Child Protection Officers. She also managers the company’s finances. Christina has AS levels in Media, Photography and Fashion & Textiles. She also has a AVCE Double Award in Art & Design (A, B). She went on to study an FDA in Early Childhood & Learning Support Studies at Bangor University. Christina has more than 21 years’ experience in performing and costume design. Christina is currently working as a higher level teaching assistant in a local Primary School. She has training in Child Protection, Manual Handling, Autism & Asperger’s, Cerebral Palsy and is Timian Trained.

Suzanne Fox

Suzanne is our Chief Child Protection Officer. She has A levels in Photography and Sociology. She also has an AVCE Double Award in Art & Design (A, A). Suzanne went on to study for her BA (Hons) QTS Degree in Primary Education in Bangor University. Suzanne has over 21 years’ experience in performing and set design. Suzanne is currently assistant headteacher and a teacher in a local Primary School. She is also the Early Years Coordinator. Suzanne is a Webster Stratton behaviour management trainer. She is an NQT mentor and is the school’s Child Protection Officer.

Theresa Hailwood

Theresa has a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts (3 Distinctions). She went on to study and obtain a BA (Hons) Degree in Performance Technology at LIPA (Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts) . Theresa has more than 22 years’ experience in theatre is in both performing and technical. She is currently a Performing Arts & Technical Theatre Lecturer/Tutor at LIPA. She has First Aid, Child Protection and POVA Training.

Danielle Ham

Danielle has GCSEs. She has over 16 years ‘experience in theatre. Danielle is our chief chaperone and looks after the Youth Committee. She is currently working in technology industry. She is Health & Safety trained. She also has training in First Aid and Manual Handling of machinery. She is also Defibrillator Trained.

Andy Greenow

Andrew (Andy) has a BA (Hons) in FDA Broadcast Media Production. He has also completed his PGCE in Secondary School Teaching. He has more than 10 years’ theatre experience in technical and performing. Andy is our Data Protection Officer and our Media Officer. He is also First Aid trained. Andy is currently teaching Computer Science in a Secondary School. He also has experience as a manager in the food industry. Andy owns his own Photography and Videography Company. Andy is on our technical team and supports the company with ensuring all the required tech equipment is available. Andy is also one of our Fire Officers.

Ashley Martin

Ashley has GCSEs. He has more than 14 years theatre and technical experience. He currently owns his own landscaping company. Ashley is the Phoenix Performer’s Transport Manager. Ashley is part of our technical team.

Jacob Jones

Jacob has GCSEs and is currently studying Music Technology Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma and received D*, D in his first year. Jacob will be starting in University in September studying BA (Hons) in Event Management. He has more than 11 years theatre experience in both performing and technical. Jacob is a member of the Choir, Only Boys Aloud. He is a Scout Leader. Jacob also has his own weekly Radio Show. Jacob owns his own Entertainment Company. Jacob is part of our Technical Team. Jacob is one of our Fire Officers. 

Nia Hughes

Nia has GCSEs. She has an AS level in Art and design and BTEC Level 3 in Creative Media and Media Production (D*, D*, D*). Nia is currently studying Childhood Studies at Bangor University. She has more than 15 years’ experience in Theatre. Nia has completed a Dance & Sports Leadership Course and is First Aid Trained.

Bethany Williams

Bethany has GCSEs, A Levels and a Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and peoples workforce. She is currently on placement in a local primary school. She has more than 12 years’ experience in theatre. She is first aid trained. Bethany also volunteers at a hospital.

Dominque has GCSEs, Level 3 Diploma in Child Care and Level 2 Diploma in Social Care. She is First Aid Trained. Dominique has over 10 years experience in theatre. She is currently a Healthcare for the NHS.
